Pai is a charming town in northern Thailand's Mae Hong Son Province, nestled in a scenic valley along the Pai River. Renowned for its natural beauty, the area boasts stunning gorges, soothing hot springs like Tha Pai Hot Spring, and picturesque waterfalls such as Mo Paeng Waterfall. In the heart of town, Pai Walking Street comes alive with vibrant food stalls and unique handicraft shops.

𝙒𝙖𝙩 𝙋𝙝𝙧𝙖 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙈𝙖𝙚 𝙔𝙚𝙣 offers a tranquil and serene ambiance, making it an ideal spot to take in the breathtaking panoramic views of Pai, Thailand. Within the temple grounds, you'll find only the Phra Ubosot and a 3-meter-tall white bell-shaped chedi, featuring a round pedestal and a distinctive Burmese-style umbrella-shaped top. On the hilltop, reached climbing up the Naga staircase, is a majestic 𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝘽𝙞𝙜 𝘽𝙪𝙙𝙙𝙝𝙖 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙚, that can be seen from almost every corner of Pai. Nestled high in the green hills, it overlooks the charming village, rice paddies, and surrounding green mountains.

 

𝙄𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙏𝙞𝙥 : Go early morning. Most people go there for the sunset but the sunrise behind the Buddha statue is pretty spectacular too. It's also cooler and there are no crowds! Don’t forget water, sunscreen & walking shoes!
